Game Description

Half-Life: Alyx is Valve’s VR return to the Half-Life series. It’s the story of an impossible fight against a vicious alien race known as the Combine, set between the events of Half-Life and Half-Life 2.
Playing as Alyx Vance, you are humanity’s only chance for survival. The Combine’s control of the planet since the Black Mesa incident has only strengthened as they corral the remaining population in cities. Among them are some of Earth’s greatest scientists: you and your father, Dr. Eli Vance.

About NoVR Modification
The easiest to use and most flexible no VR mod for Half-Life Alyx! This mod allows you to play Half-Life Alyx without VR, not needing specialized drivers or anything like that. Allowing for it to be played anyway and anywhere you like! Just copy and paste the folders wherever you have Half-Life Alyx installed via Steam and that is it!

NoVR Update #6 (Commit 71e83ff; April 13, 2023) can be installed to make the game work and campaign to be completed on flat screens. You can skip installing this mode to play in VR
If you decide to delete the mod later (in example, for installing new mod version) run “Remove NoVR Mod.bat” in the game root
