Sail! Plot your course on the Ocean Map, looking for points of interest like islands, reefs, and tiny islets. You can choose the order you visit islands in, and your approach to the challenges you’ll face, as you chart your path through the story!
Explore! When you spot an island, launch out of Shipshape’s cannon to explore a range of locations from tropical rainforests to bustling cities. Meet the locals, solve puzzles, fight baddies, and more.
Link! Overcome each island’s unique challenges to form an island link with your ship. The more islands you reconnect, the more fun discoveries you’ll unlock, like side quests and access to new areas!
Bro Power! Unleash the mighty power of Mario and Luigi’s brotherly bond to overcome adversity and thwart foes! Use Bros. Moves to get past obstacles while you explore, and powerful Bros. Attacks in a dynamic twist on turn-based combat. You’ll need every edge this “brothership” will give you to save the day.
Team up to battle… and explore! When Mario and Luigi are together, they can work as a team to attack. Mario and Luigi can also team up to explore challenging locations. When the Bros. work together, they can overcome all sorts of obstacles!
Bros. Attacks! Take advantage of powerful Bros. Attacks like Zapperator in a dynamic twist on turn-based combat, where well-timed attacks, dodges, and counterattacks are key to defeating foes!
Battle Plugs! Equip Battle Plugs for extra abilities, like guaranteed critical hits against flying targets, to get a strategic advantage on your enemies. Swap Battle Plugs whenever you want, and experiment with creative combinations to create different effects

Switch Firmware v18.1.0 (321 MB) added as a requirement for both emulators
To boost performance on Ryu emu, disable the V-sync option either before boot up or while playing to see the FPS difference. (Screen tearing may happen, so beware)
To boost performance on Suyu emu, as soon as you get into the game press ‘Ctrl + U’ to remove fps lock and subsequently unlock more FPS. (You can see the unlocked status next to your FPS counter)
Test both emus and use the one which performs better on your system
